Qiang Liu is a professor at Shanxi Agricultural University. He received his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Shanxi Agricultural University. He was a teaching assistant, lecturer, associate professor and later promoted to professor at Shanxi Agricultural University. He is a member of the Professor Committee of the College of Animal Science and Technology. He is also a standing director of the Beef Cattle Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Forestry, Animal Husbandry, and Fishery Economics, a director of the Animal Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and a director of the China Dairy Association. He has won the Shanxi Science and Technology Progress Award, the Shanxi Natural Science Third Prize and seven natural science awards from Shanxi universities.
