Dr. Evan P. Economo is a Professor of the Biodiversity and Biocomplexity Unit and the Dean of Faculty Affairs at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University, Japan. He completed his PhD studies in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior at the University of Texas (Austin). He is a biologist with broad interests in the ecology and evolution of biodiversity and how biodiversity intersects with technology and sustainability.
