Author Biographies

Omer Ajmal is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Computer Science, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He has more than fifteen years of teaching and IT industry experience in Pakistan. He is currently working as Lecturer at Department of Computer Science, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He is an aspiring researcher with a strong focus on Machine Learning, Algorithms, Optimization, and Innovative technologies in Education.
Shahzad Mumtaz received his master’s degree in computer science from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan, in 2005, and his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Aston University, U.K., in 2015. He was the Assistant Director (Computer) at the National Highway Authority, Pakistan, from December 2005 to October 2007. Recently, he has worked in areas such as natural language processing/analytics and high-performance computing. His research projects include Probabilistic Modeling of Blood Glucose Through Eye Parameters, An Analysis of the Protein Family of Major Histocompatibility Complex, Predictive Modeling of Accidents and Emergency Arrivals and Admissions, Patient-Specific Recommendation Systems for HIP Joint Patients, and Predictive Modeling of Extreme Content from Twitter in the Context of Afghanistan. His research interests include machine learning, data mining, and their application to health informatics domains.
Humaira Arshad received her master’s degree in information technology from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, and her Ph.D. degree from the School of Computer Science, University Sains Malaysia. She joined the Faculty of Computer Sciences and IT in 2004. She is currently serving as the Chairperson and Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Her areas of interest include Digital and Social Media Forensics, Information Security, Big Data Analysis, Cryptography, Cybersecurity, Intrusion Detection, Reverse Engineering, and the Semantic Web. Her work has been published in several well-recognized, high-impact scientific journals. She is also an active reviewer for several scientific journals
Abdullah Soomro has been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing, at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur since April 2022. He received his M.S. degree in computer science with a specialization in Data Knowledge Engineering from Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur, Pakistan, in 2019. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
Tariq Hussain received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in information technology from the University of Malakand, Pakistan, in 2015, and the Institute of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, University of Agriculture, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2019, respectively. He has published numerous research papers in the area of computer networks. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Zhejiang Gongshang University, Hangzhou, China. Dr. Ahmed Alhomoud is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Northern Border University, Rafha, Saudi Arabia. He is engaged in multidisciplinary research topics related to computer science.
