Suresh Renukappa currently serves as a Reader in Sustainable Value Creation at the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton. He holds a PhD in managing change and knowledge associated with sustainability initiatives for improved competitiveness. He has over 20 years of research, consultancy, project management, and teaching experience in a wide range of business and management areas across industrial sectors in both developed and emerging economies. To date, he has successfully executed more than 40 research projects and authored over 250 papers, in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. His research interests cover, but are not limited to, business model innovation for sustainability; sustainability strategies for competitive advantage; carbon reduction strategies; energy security; smart healthcare strategies; smart cities development; leading change towards sustainability; knowledge management; private partnerships; digital strategies; and sustainable infrastructure investment and development. He is an Editorial Board Member of the Emerald Group Publishing—Engineering Sustainability Journal and Smart and Sustainable Built Environment Journal. Also, he is a member of the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB)—Working Commission (W102) on Information and Knowledge Management and Working Commission (TG91)

Subashini Suresh is a Professor of Knowledge Management and Director of the Postgraduate Research Programme (DPGRP) at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Wolverhampton. She leads the Energy and Sustainability Research Group in the School of Architecture and the Built Environment. She is the lead Commission Coordinator of the CIB Commission W102—Information and Knowledge Management in Building. She has been a post-doctoral researcher, lecturer, senior lecturer, and principal lecturer. She was Seconded as an Associate Professor at the Bradley University, United States of America. She was the REF joint coordinator for 2014 and 2021 (from 2017 to 2019) for Unit of Assessment C13 (Architecture, Built Environment and Planning). She has been an Athena SWAN champion from 2016-2019. She is currently on the Athena SWAN University Self Assessment Team. She has lectured nationally and internationally in sustainable development, knowledge management,
intersectionality, project management, smart cities, and health and safety. She sits on many National and International Scientific Committees for research in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction. She is an expert panel member for the European Commission. Her role as DPGRP includes governance, strategic
planning for the growth and development of research programs (Ph.D., MPhil, etc.), new areas of collaboration, development, and implementation of policies and practices.
