Yoon-Sun Kim was awarded a master’s degree in nutrition from Korea University in 2004, and a doctorate in food science from Korea University in 2008. Since then, Yoon-Sun has been focusing on research on food science and nutrition education. Yoon-Sun is currently working as an instructor in the Department of Home Economics Education at Kangwon National University (2008--present).

Dr. Hyun Ja Kim holds a Ph.D. and works in the Department of Food and Nutrition, Hanyang University, in South Korea, with a specialized focus on Nutritional Epidemiology for cancer prevention. She has served as a Visiting Research Professor at Harvard Medical School and as the Principal Researcher in the Division of Health and Nutrition Survey at the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Food and Nutrition at Gangneung-Wonju National University.
