Yikui Wang, a researcher and doctor graduated from
South China Agricultural University in June 2016. He was the deputy director of
the Vegetable Research Institute of Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
He is currently the deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of
Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He also serves as the executive
director of the Eggplant Branch of the Chinese Horticultural Society and the
director of the Tomato Branch of the Chinese Horticultural Society. He has been
awarded the honorary title of “Guangxi Youth Job Expert” (2013) and the
National Advanced Individual in Science and Technology to Assist Targeted
Poverty Alleviation (2018). Mainly engaged in research on innovation of
vegetable germplasm resources and genetic breeding.ww
