Md Ali Babar is an Associate Professor at the World Food Crops Breeding and Genetics, Agronomy Department, University of Florida. He obtained a B.S. and an M.S. at the Bangladesh Agriculture University. He received a Ph.D. at Oklahoma State University. He completed his postdoctoral work at KSU, Manhattan. He was a Senior Biologist and an Associate Scientist at the DOW Agro, Sidney, IL, USA.
He was also an Assistant professor at the University of Florida. He is a member of the American Oat Workers Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Crop Science Society of America, the Agronomy Society of America, and the American Society of Plant Biologists.
