Mauro Femminella received Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the University of Perugia in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He is now an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering, University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy. He is also the Representative of the University of Perugia in the Shareholders' Meeting of the consortium CNIT. He is a co-author of more than 120 papers in international journals and refereed international conferences. His current research interests focus on molecular communications, big data systems, and network management solutions for 5G/6G networks.

Gianluca Reali received his Ph.D. degree in telecommunications from the University of Perugia in 1997, where he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Engineering since January 2005 and coordinates the Telecommunications Lab. From 1997 to 2004, he was a Researcher with the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, University of Perugia. In 1999, he visited the Computer Science Department, UCLA. Additionally, he is also a member of the academic consortium CNIT. His current research activities include resource allocation over packet networks and network management through reinforcement learning, biomedical AI, and nanoscale communications.
