Yueqin Song received her B.Sc. in Plant Protection from Henan Institute of Science and Technology in 2000 and her M.Sc. (2008) and Ph.D. (2014) in Agricultural Entomology and Pest Control from Northwest A&F University. She has worked at Henan University of Science and Technology (Luoyang, China) since 2008 and is currently a Professor of Horticulture and Plant Protection. Her research interests include agricultural insect and pest control.

Xinzheng Huang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Entomology, China Agricultural University, Beijing, China. He received his M.Sc. (2012) and Ph.D. (2016) from Northwest A&F University. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from 2016 to 2018. His main research direction involves the identification of plant volatiles, insect pheromones (sex pheromone, aggregation pheromone, etc.) active components, and the control of target insects’ behavior.
Yongjun Zhang is a Professor and Director of the Agricultural Insects Research Department at the Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), Beijing, China. He received his M.Sc. in Agronomy from Shenyang Agricultural University in 1997 and his Ph.D. in Agricultural Insect and Pest Control from the Graduate School of the CAAS in 2000. He was a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University in 2003. He was the chairman of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Plant Protection Society and is now the executive director of the Beijing Entomological Society. His research fields include the integrated management of important agricultural pests, behavioral control of insect chemical communication, olfactory recognition of insects, plant biochemical resistance, and the biosafety of transgenic plants.
