Xiao Duan, Ph.D.
Dr. Xiao Duan is the vice dean of the School of Pharmacy at the Changzhi Medical College of China with a research focus on drug delivery systems used for cancer therapy. He received his bachelor's degree at Changzhi Medical College, his master's degree at Fourth Military Medical University, and his doctorate degree at Northwestern Polytechnical University. He served as an academic scholar at University College Cork sponsored by the China Scholarship Council. To date, he has published many high-quality papers on drug delivery and the biomedical application field and has led research projects supported by Shanxi province and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His published papers in journals including Nano Today, Carbohydrate Polymers, Materials Today Nano, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Journal of Controlled Release, Acta Biomaterialia, Journal of Materials Chemistry B, ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Journal of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers, etc.
