Antonio Tintori is a sociologist with a PhD in economic geography. He is the coordinator of the research group Social Changes, Evaluation and Methods (MUSA) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), president of the Single Guarantee Committee of the CNR, and former professor of social science methodology at La Sapienza University of Rome. He carries out interdisciplinary, socio-psychological, quantitative, and qualitative research focused on formal and informal relationships between individuals. He studies attitudes and behaviors of population groups, with particular reference to young people and gender with respect to interaction and integration, deviance, violence, and social conditioning (beliefs, stereotypes, and prejudices). He deals with scientific dissemination and innovative scenario planning techniques. He is the author of books and numerous scientific publications.
