Author Biographies

Dr. Yanawut Uttaruk earned his Ph.D. in Biology in 2011 from Khon Kaen University, his Master's degree in Zoology in 2002 from Chulalongkorn University, and his Bachelor's degree in Biology in 1998 from Mahasarakham University. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Science, Mahasarakham University, located in Maha Sarakham, Thailand. His research focuses on conservation biology and biodiversity, with a particular emphasis on climate change. His work includes the application of geoinformatics for forest ecosystem management and the management of greenhouse gases within the forestry and agricultural sectors.
Dr. Teerawong Laosuwan is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science, Mahasarakham University, located in Maha Sakham, Thailand. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Mahasarakham University in 2012. His undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering was completed in 1994 at Southeast Asia University, Thailand. Additionally, he received a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing in 2002 from Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand. His current research endeavors are twofold: the first focuses on remote sensing and GIS, while the second is centered on carbon sequestration, carbon management, and achieving net zero emissions.
Dr. Satith Sangpradid is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geoinformatics at the Faculty of Informatics, Mahasarakham University, located in Maha Sarakham, Thailand. He earned his Ph.D. in Geoinformatics from Suranaree University of Technology in 2012. He also holds a Master's degree in Information Technology, obtained in 2002 from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology North Bangkok, and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, earned in 1999 from Mahasarakham University. His research interests are threefold. First, he focuses on remote sensing and GIS. Second, he is dedicated to research in carbon sequestration, carbon management, and achieving net zero emissions. Lastly, his work involves applying artificial intelligence to management and various applications.
