Prof. Dr. Chunhui Zhou is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Wuhan University of Technology, and a visiting scholar at the University of New South Wales, Australia. He has published more than 100 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals (including more than 20 SCI-indexed papers), obtained more than 20 authorized invention patents, presided over the preparation of 1 textbook, and formulated 2 industry standards. Hosted 2 national-level projects and hosted and participated in more than 100 other vertical and horizontal projects. He has won 3 “First Class Science and Technology Awards of the Chinese Institute of Navigation”, 6 “Second Prizes of the Chinese Institute of Navigation Science and Technology”, and 1 “Second Prize of the Hubei Provincial Ministry of Science and Technology”. He lectures on courses such as "Ship Structure and Equipment", "Maritime Cargo Transportation", and "Ship Traffic Flow Comprehensive Experiment (Graduate Students)". He guides undergraduate and graduate students to win over 10 provincial and ministerial-level subject competition awards. He has long served as a review expert for TOP international journals such as SCIENCE OF THE TOTAL ENVIRONMENT, OCEAN ENGINEERING, JOURNAL OF INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT, MARINE POLLUTION BULLETIN, etc. The main research directions include ship pollution prevention and emergency response, water transportation big data mining, intelligent navigation and safety assurance, etc.
