Dr. Juraj Tomášik received his General medicine and Dentistry degree in 2016 and 2019, respectively, both with honours. He further specialised in medical management and financing in 2019, in dentoalveolar surgery in 2020, and in implantology in 2021. He is currently working at the Department of Orthodontics, Regenerative and Forensic Dentistry of Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, working towards his specialized and postgraduate studies in orthodontics. Apart from his university position, he also works at his own practice. His clinical and research topics include among others using artificial intelligence in clinical workflows, integration of surgical procedures in orthodontics and face-driven orthodontic treatment planning. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and playing the piano.
Dr. Marton Zsoldos received his D.M.D. degree in dentistry from the University of Debrecen in 2019, with highest honours. During his studies, among other scholarships, he was awarded the National Higher Education Scholarship. He started working at the University of Debrecen, after which he moved to a private practice and to the University of Szeged, where he earned his Specialist Degree in Orthodontics with highest honours. As an undergraduate student, he gave a lecture at a national conference, and has since continued to lecture and teach both within the University of Szeged and for several courses outside of it. He is a member of the Hungarian Society of Orthodontists and Hungarian Association for Dentofacial Orthopedics and Orthodontics. He has a number of publications in the field of dentistry. His teaching and research focus on modern orthodontics, aligners, artificial intelligence, aesthetics, mini-implants and a select other aspects of dentistry.
Andrej Thurzo is an Associate Professor and the head of the Department of Orthodontics and Regenerative and Forensic Dentistry at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, in Bratislava, Slovakia. He received his MD with a specialization in dentistry from Comenius University in 2006 and his Ph.D. from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave Lekárska Fakulta in 2010. He obtained a Master's of Public Health from Slovenská zdravotnícka univerzita in 2013 and a Master's of Health Administration in 2014. From 1998 to 2003, he was a web coordinator for the British Council, Bratislava. From 2004 to 2005, he worked in new digital technology implementation at the Academic Library of the Medical Faculty at Comenius University. He has been a leading orthodontist at the clinic Sangre Azul since 2013 and an Associate Professor since 2022. His research interests include 3D medical printing, bioprinting, artificial intelligence, orthodontics, forensic dentistry, and regenerative medicine.
