Dr. Konstantin Severinov is a Principal Investigator at the Waksman Institute and a Professor of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Rutgers University. He also heads a laboratory at the Russian Academy of Sciences Gene Biology in Moscow. His scientific interests include the mechanisms of gene expression in bacteria, bacteria–phage interactions and the development of new antibiotics.
