Gohar Ali received his doctoral degree in Meteorology from the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST), Nanjing, China, in 2020. He worked as a Meteorologist at the Pakistan Meteorological Department (2009–to date). His research topics mainly include: aerosol climate interaction, climate modeling, and long-range forecasting (LRF).
