Dr. Gyundo Pak is the Senior Research Scientist of Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology, Busan, Republic of Korea, since 2020. From 2017 to 2020, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. from Seoul National University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. His research mainly focuses on the following: monsoons, correlations, climate variability, climate dynamics, physical oceanography, air–sea interactions, and marine heatwaves.
