Author Biographies

Mgr. inż. Adrian Sikora presently works at the Bayer CropScience company as a Crop Adviser. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Poland, specifically from the Faculty of Agriculture and Economics, as part of the Department of Agricultural and Plant Production. Mgr. Sikora received his Master of Science degree from the University of Agriculture in Kraków in 2008, and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Agronomy. From 2003 to 2009, he worked as a Crop Adviser at the Institute of Crop Breeding. In 2013, he moved to the Bayer company and was promoted to the Crop Adviser position in 2022. His main research interests include crop protection, weed management, sustainable agriculture, environmental monitoring, and precision agriculture.
Dr. inż. Joanna Dłużniewska, Assistant Professor, presently works at the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Poland, under the Faculty of Agriculture and Economics, within the Department of Microbiology and Biomonitoring. For her postgraduate education, Dr. Dłużniewska completed a postgraduate study based around European administration and the management of EU funds. Her main research interests include sustainable agriculture, environmental monitoring, crop monitoring, and crop protection. She has five publications in Scopus.
Dr. hab. inż. Bogdan Kulig, Full Professor, presently works at the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Poland, under the Faculty of Agriculture and Economics, within the Department of Agricultural and Plant Production. For his postgraduate education, Dr. Kulig completed a postgraduate study based around European administration and the management of EU funds, as well as a 5-month postdoctoral internship at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, Austria. His main research interests include sustainable agriculture, environmental monitoring, precision agriculture, and crop modeling. He has 37 publications in Scopus.
Dr. hab. inż. Agnieszka Klimek-Kopyra, Associate Professor, presently works at the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Poland, under the Faculty of Agriculture and Economics, within the Department of Agricultural and Plant Production. For her postgraduate education, Dr. Klimek-Kopyra completed a postgraduate study based around European administration and the management of EU funds, as well as a 5-month postdoctoral internship at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, Austria. Her main research interests include sustainable agriculture, environmental monitoring, precision agriculture, and crop modeling. She has 85 publications in Scopus.
