Prof. Dr. Chunqing received his Degree in Physics from Wuhan University in 1998. He
completed his PhD studies in Modern Physics at the Fudan University in 2001.
From 2001 to 2003, he worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Japan High Energy
Accelerator Research Institute. From 2003 to 2004, he served as a Postdoctoral
researcher at Experimental Atomic Reactor Research Institute, Kyoto University,
Japan. From 2004 to 2008, he worked as a researcher at the Japan Society for
the Promotion of Science and a special researcher at AIST, Japan National
Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, during which he was
approved for a research scholarship from the German Humboldt Foundation. From
2008 until now, he has served at the School of Physics and Technology, Wuhan
University. He is currently a full professor at the School of Physical Science
and Technology. His research directions include Condensed matter physics,
Nuclear technology applications, and Materials physics and chemistry. He is
also a Member of the Advisory Committee of the International Conference on
Positron and Positron Chemistry (PPC) and the Director of the National Positron
Annihilation Spectroscopy Professional Committee. He was awarded the
Outstanding Educator of Wuhan University’s “Hongyi Academy” in 2017 and the
first “Professor Cha Quanxing 1977 Teaching Scholarship” of Wuhan University in
2018.
