Adrien Daigeler graduated from Julius Maximilian University in Wuerzburg, Germany, and finished Medical School in 2001. His Doctoral thesis was about the effects of botulinum toxin on the cytoskeleton of endothelial cells at the Institute for Anatomy and Cell Biology, Julius Maximilian University in Wuerzburg, Germany. From August 2001 to March 2004, he worked at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgery at the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magedburg, Magedburg, Germany. From 2004 to 2010, he was a Resident at the Department of Plastic Surgery, Burn and Hand Surgery Center, Center for Extremity Sarcoma, BG University Hospital Bergmannsheil, Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany. From 2010 to 2012, he was Senior Consultant at the BG Trauma Center Ludwigshafen, Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery at the Ruprecht Karls University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Germany, and since 2012 he has been an Assistant Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery, Burn and Hand Surgery Center, Center for Extremity Sarcoma, BG University Hospital Bergmannsheil, Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany. His research focuses on reconstructive plastic procedures, soft tissue sarcoma treatment, and wound healing. Since 2013, he has been a Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Ruprecht Karls University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Germany.
