Dr. Kolena recently led several research projects focusing on the impact of phthalates and other endocrine disruptors on human health. He has published papers in various high-impact journals and serves as a peer reviewer for prominent scientific societies, as well as an investigator for multiple research projects. His teaching disciplines include historical anthropology, medical anthropology, human biology and anatomy. His interests span a wide range of topics, including the use of high-performance liquid chromatography, the study of endocrine disruptors, osteology, spirometry, physical anthropology, skeletal biology, forensic anthropology and health.
