Prof. Dr. Xueshan Gao was born in 1966 and now works at the
School of Mechatronical Engineering of the Beijing Institute of Technology,
China. He obtained his PhD degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, School
of Electrical Engineering and Automation, in 2002. He has won one second
prize for provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological
progress and one first prize for provincial and ministerial-level scientific
and technological invention. He is the Vice Chairman of the Intelligent Manufacturing
Systems Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation and a
member of the Robotics Professional Committee of the Chinese Aerospace Society.
His research interests include intelligent mobile robots, biomimetic robots,
and armament science and technology.
