Dr. Jia Li is a Lecturer and a Master’s Supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Liaoning University of Technology. He received his BS in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology Beijing (2015) and his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2020). Since 2015, he has been engaged in the research of quantum order control of transition metal oxides, using ionic liquids, electric current, vacuum heat treatment, and other methods to control the quantum order of transition metal oxide films and to control the long-range orderly transfer of O and Co ions. Currently, he has joined the new energy materials and devices research team of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Liaoning University of Technology and is researching new energy devices and radiation protection materials. His interests include transition metal oxide ion regulation, new energy materials and devices, and the development of new radiation protection materials.
Prof. Dr. Jun Xiang is a Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, at Liaoning University of Technology. She received her BS in Materials Science and Engineering (2006) and MSc in Materials Processing Engineering (2010) from Liaoning Technical University. She obtained her PhD in Materials Science from the Harbin Institute of Technology (2013). She was selected for Liaoning Province’s “Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project”. She was approved as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 funded by the National Scholarship Fund. Her scientific research focuses on new energy materials and technologies such as fuel cells, supercapacitors, and water decomposition to produce hydrogen, advanced ceramic composite materials and functional materials, and functional coatings for metal surface modification.
Prof. Dr. Fu-Fa Wu is a Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, at Liaoning University of Technology. He also serves as a correspondence review expert for young Yangtze River scholars and a correspondence review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He received his BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Central South University (2002) and his PhD in Materials Physics and Chemistry from the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2008). From 2009 to 2013, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology. In 2018, he was selected as “Liaoning Province Distinguished Professor”. He is mainly engaged in the research of mechanical behavior, toughening design, and application of metal materials, and has made many innovative research results in the fields of aluminum alloy microstructure refinement and toughening, mechanical behavior of metastable materials such as amorphous and high entropy alloys, etc.
Prof. Dr. Rong-Da Zhao is a Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, at Liaoning University of Technology. He also serves as a Director of the China Heat Treatment Society, an Executive Director of the Liaoning Province Heat Treatment Society, a Key Member of the Liaoning Province University Innovation Team, and the Head of the New Energy Materials and Devices Department, and the Director of the teaching and research section. He received his BS in Materials Science and Engineering (2004) and MSc in Materials Science (2007) from Liaoning Technical University. He obtained his PhD in Materials Science from the Harbin Institute of Technology (2012). From 2019 to 2020, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Metal Materials, ESI, Austrian Academy of Sciences. In 2020, he was selected as the “Innovative Talent of Higher Education Institutions of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education”. He is mainly engaged in research on the preparation and performance of aluminum alloys, amorphous materials, high entropy alloys, and new energy materials.
