Lapynshai Mylliem Umlong earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Saint Mary's College in Shillong, Meghalaya in 2022. She further enhanced her academic qualifications with a PG Diploma in Geoinformatics from North-Eastern Hill University in 2023. Following her diploma, she completed a three-month apprenticeship program in IT GIS with Meghalaya Basin Development Authority, and also undertook an internship at Earth Tree company.
