Bohong Zheng is the vice dean of the School of
Architecture and Art of Central South University, a professor of urban
planning, a doctoral supervisor, a leader in urban and rural planning, and a
national registered urban and rural planner. He also serves as the chief
planner of Hunan Zhongda Design Institute Co., Ltd. He received a master’s (1999)
and Ph.D. (2003) degrees from Central China Normal University. He is a member
of the Architectural Society of China, the Chinese National Architecture
Research Association, and the Hunan Provincial Land and Space Planning Society.
His research interests are urban and rural functional structure networking and
network cities, urban and rural spatial development and control, urban and
rural low-carbon ecological space planning, etc.
Xi Luo is an Associate Professor and Director of
the Graduate Education Management Center at the Central South University,
China. He is the head of the Hunan Province Village Planning Comprehensive
Service Team. He received a master’s (2007) and Ph.D. (2017) degrees from
Central South University. He is a member of the Youth Work Committee of the
Hunan Provincial Land and Space Planning Society. He was awarded the 2023 Hunan
Province Ninth College Student Urban and Rural Planning Design First Prize
Instructor and the 2023 Hunan “Planning Youth Speaks” Speech Contest Third
Prize. His research interests are national land space planning, urban energy
planning, and low-carbon city planning.
