Dr. Wenhua Ji received his M.S. degree from Xiamen University in 2009 and his Ph.D. degree from Shandong Normal University in 2021. From 2009 to 2010, he worked at Qilu Pharmaceutical Co. Currently, he is a professor at Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences). He is also a young expert and Taishan Scholar of Shandong Province. He was awarded the first prize of the Shandong Province Scientific and Technological Progress Award and the first prize of the China Association for Analytical Testing Science and Technology Award. His research interests include the functionalization and application of organic porous materials.

Prof. Dr. Lanping Guo received her B.S. and M.S. from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1992 and 2002, respectively. She received a Ph.D. from the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2005. She is a researcher at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Director of the Research Center of Chinese Medicine Resources at the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Director of the Tertiary Laboratory of Ecological Research on Chinese Medicine Resources of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Director of the Ecological Society of China, and Secretary General of the Committee on Ecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources of the Ecological Society of China. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Journal of Experimental Formulary, and the Chinese Journal of Modern Chinese Medicine. She is mainly engaged in research on the ecology of traditional Chinese medicine resources and the environmental mechanism of the formation of authentic medicinal herbs.
Prof. Dr. Lei Chen is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Food Science and Technology of Guangdong Ocean University, and he was selected as one of the “Top 100,000 Scientists in the World” in 2021. He is also an Associate Editor of Food Frontiers and Frontiers in Nutrition and an editorial board member of the journals Food Science and Human Wellness. He was involved in the organization of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 International Symposia on Phytochemicals in Medicine and Food conferences and serves as Secretary of the International Society for Food Nutrition and Safety. His research interests include the bioavailability of phytochemicals, marine nutrients, and micronutrients, with a focus on the absorption and metabolism of natural small molecules.
Prof. Dr. Xiao Wang is the dean of the School of Pharmacy of Qilu University of Technology and the director of the Shandong Province Analytical Testing Center. He is also a professor and second-grade researcher. He is the director of Jinan Comprehensive Experimental Station of the National Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials Industry Technology System, the director of the Reference Laboratory of the National Standard Samples of Natural Products, and the director of the Shandong Province Engineering Technology Research Center of Chemical Controls (Reference Standards) of Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials. He has won the second prize in the National Scientific and Technological Progress and the first, second, and third prizes in the Shandong Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress. In 2020, he was honored as a candidate for the “National Project of One Million Talents” and was awarded the title of “Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions to the Country”. He was also honored as an “Expert with Special Governmental Allowance of the State Council” in 2019. He is mainly engaged in research on the quality control of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine resources.
