Dr. Shakta Mani Satyam is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at RAK College of Medical Sciences and the In-Charge of the Central Animal Research Facility. He also chairs the Animal Ethics Committee at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. With a PhD in Pain and Neuroendocrine Pharmacology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India, Dr. Satyam is a distinguished academic with thirteen awards and honors to his name. He has authored 53 research papers in top-tier indexed journals and is a Lifetime Member of the Indian Pharmacological Society. Teaching pharmacology to medical and dental students, Dr. Satyam is also pursuing a FAIMER fellowship. His research passions encompass cardiometabolic diseases, pain, cancer, and oxidative stress, making him a leading voice in pharmacological research and education.
