Francisco Javier Martínez Solano, born in Spain in 1970, has been an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Valencia since 1994. He earned his degree in Industrial Engineering in 1994 and his PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2002, both from the Technical University of Valencia. He has authored 46 articles in journals indexed by the Web of Science, delivered over 100 conference presentations, and supervised 6 doctoral theses. He has contributed to 32 national and international research projects. His areas of research interest include water supply systems, pumping stations, and the optimization of hydraulic networks.
