Dr. Yurong Sun is an Associate Professor at the Central South University of Forestry and Technology. She graduated from the Computer Science Department of Lanzhou University with a Bachelor's degree and a Master’s degree in Computer Software and a Master of Science in Computational Mathematics; then, she graduated from Central South Forestry University with a Doctorate in Ecology and received a Doctorate in Ecology. She participated in one national 948 project, presided over one key research and development
project of the Social Development Department of Hunan Province, and presided over one key project of the 12th Five-Year Plan for Education and Science of Hunan Province. She is a member of the Hunan Artificial Intelligence Society. Her research direction is natural disaster risk analysis and prediction.
