Dr. Xingwei Zhang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechatronic Engineering at Shantou University, China. He received a B.E. in thermal energy and power engineering, an M.E. in mechanical and electronic engineering, and a Ph.D. in fluid machinery and engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2003, 2006, and 2011, respectively. He is mainly engaged in the design of special bionic robots, the design and analysis of bionic mechanical structures, flow control, machine vision, and image processing research direction.
Dr. Guo is a faculty member of Department of Biomedical Engineering, Shantou University, China. He got his PhD from Division of Micro and Nanosystems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, with the support of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD fellowship. He worked with Prof. Wouter van der Wijngaart at KTH. During his PhD study, he had a six-month research exchange at IQAC (Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia) and CNM (National Microelectronics Centre) of CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) in Barcelona, Spain. He is a recipient of Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad from China Scholarship Council (CSC) in 2020. His research interests include microfabrication, biomicrofluidics, and biosensing. He has co-authored more than 30 journal papers and IEEE MEMS/MicroTAS/IEEE NEMS conference proceedings, including papers in well-recognized journals such as Langmuir, Microchemical Journal, Lab on a Chip, Microsystems & Nanoengineering, Analytical Chemistry, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, and ACS Nano, and has a Google citation more than 300. He has given six oral presentations at IEEE MEMS/MicroTAS/IEEE NEMS conferences (MicroTAS 2016, IEEE MEMS 2017, IEEE MEMS 2018, IEEE MEMS 2021, IEEE NEMS 2021, IEEE NEMS 2022).
