Dr. Yan Shen is an associate professor at the School of Electronics and Information Technology, Sun Yat-sen University. He completed his PhD studies in materials physics and chemistry at Sun Yat-sen University in 2015. In addition, Prof. Yan Shen is a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Vacuum Society. His research interests include (1) refractory metal micro-nano-structured single crystal preparation and high-performance nano-cold cathodes; (2) high-efficiency tunable equipartitioned excitonic materials and their mediated nanophotocathodes; (3) femtosecond ultrafast ultrashort electron pulse new characterization study; (4) THz radiation source, DUV/EUV light source, X-ray source vacuum micro-nano new devices; and (5) micro-nano structure photoelectric properties of the characterization of new methods and new technology integration.
Shuai Tang
Dr. Shuai Tang is an associate professor at the School of Electronics and Information Technology, Sun Yat-sen University. He completed his PhD studies in microelectronics and solid state electronics at Sun Yat-sen University in 2017. Prof. Shuai Tang is a selected candidate of the National Overseas High-level Young Talent Program and an introduced talent of Sun Yat-sen University’s Hundred Talents Program. His research interests include (1) research and application of field emission point electron source; (2) in situ SEM/TEM electrical and thermal properties of nanomaterials; and (3) preparation, characterization and application of low-dimensional nanomaterials.
Dr. Yu Zhang is a professor at the School of Electronics and Information Technology, Sun Yat-sen University. He completed his PhD studies in condensed matter physics at Sun Yat-sen University in 2008. Prof. Yu Zhang is a permanent researcher in the National Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and
Technology and a permanent researcher in the “Micro-Nano Structured Electro-Photonics and Devices Research Team” in the Key Laboratory of Display Materials and Technology of Guangdong Province. His research interests include (1) vacuum nanoelectronic devices, field emission cold cathode electronic devices; (2) microwave terahertz wave radiation source devices, microwave integrated circuits; (3) cold cathode electron source applications, including electron beam lithography, electron neutralizer, electron gun, etc.; and (4) one-dimensional and two-dimensional nanomaterials and devices (graphene, carbon nanotubes, two-dimensional crystals).
Dr. Huanjun Chen is a professor at the School of Electronics and Information Technology, Sun Yat-sen University. He completed his PhD studies in physics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. He was selected for the Ministry of Education's National Major Talent Project (Youth) (2018). His research interests include (1) nanophotonics; (2) polarized exciton physics, materials and optoelectronic device research; and (3) terahertz and mid- and far-infrared detection materials and devices.
Dr. Shaozhi Deng is a professor at the School of Electronics and Information Technology, Sun Yat-sen University. She completed her PhD studies at Sun Yat-sen University. Prof. Shaozhi Deng was the
chief scientist of the National Nano Major Scientific Research Program, and is now the project leader of the National Key R&D Program “Nanotechnology”. On 1 August 2021, she was selected as a preliminary candidate for co-option as a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. Her research interests
include microelectronics; optical engineering; field emission; flat panel display technology; and integrated circuit technology.
