Dr. Christos Savva has been an Associate Professor in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the Department of Life and Health Science, University of Frederick, since 2023. He served for 13 years as a clinical trainer, lecturer, and assistant professor at the Department of Health Science of the European University of Cyprus (2010–2023). Respecting training, he holds a BSc in Physiotherapy (ATEITH, 2008) and an MSc in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy from Birmingham University, with a major specialization in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He earned a PhD from the University of Thessaly. His research revolves around the following topics: (1) the role of cervical traction combined with neural mobilization in cervical radiculopathy; (2) the degree of test-retest of outcome measures that can be used in the area of neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy; (3) the analgesic mechanisms of neural mobilization and thrust-manipulation; and (4) the role of cognitive functional therapy in chronic neck pain.

Dr. Eleftherios Paraskevopoulos holds a degree in physiotherapy, and he is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists (PSF). He holds a Master of Science degree from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the University of Thessaly, specializing in clinical biomechanics. He has completed postgraduate studies in manual therapy, where he has received the title of orthopedic manual therapist (OMT) with recognition from the International Federation of Orthopedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). He completed his doctoral studies in the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica. His main research interests focus on the rehabilitation of shoulder dysfunctions in professional volleyball players. At the same time, he participates in the organization of training seminars related to myofascial release at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with leading Professor Dr. Papandreou Maria. He has worked for several years in Britain and Greece as a physiotherapist in the public and private sectors. He is a physiotherapist for the Greek National Rowing Team (men and women). At the same time, he is an academic fellow at the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica, where he works as a teaching assistant in laboratory courses and has also been a visiting lecturer on the Postgraduate Program "New Methods in Physiotherapy" at the University of West Attica.
Dr George Pamboris is assistant professor in the Department of Health Sciences, School of Sciences, at European University Cyprus, teaching the BSc Physiotherapy and MSc Sports Physiotherapy degrees. He was awarded his PhD degree (July 2018) from Brunel University London and an MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh after obtaining his BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK. He has worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire, teaching the Sports Therapy Modules and providing clinical supervision. His skills and expertise include biomechanics, rehabilitation, sports injuries, sports biomechanics, physical rehabilitation, muscle-tendon mechanics, sports science, and injury prevention. During his PhD, he worked alongside Dr Amir Mohagheghi and Prof Vasilios Baltzopoulos, where he gained significant experience in the field as a biomechanist and in the writing and publication of scientific research articles. In 2019, he was awarded EUR150,000 in funding by the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation to conduct a research project investigating the muscle fibre response to exercise in Cerebral Palsy. He is a member of the Cyprus Association of Physiotherapists, the Physiotherapist Registry Council of Cyprus, the Health and Care Professions Council, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine in the UK.
