Dr. Jeyver Rodriguez holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the Australian Catholic University and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Ethics at the Universidad Católica de Temuco, Chile. Since 2022, he has been collaborating with the One Health Social Sciences Initiative within the One Health Commission. He is currently involved with the One Health Community of Practice (CoP), which attended COP 16 on Biodiversity, held in Cali, Colombia, in October 2024. His scholarly work includes the final chapter of "God, Home, and Thinking in Place: What Kind of Pantheism Did Thoreau Endorse?", his published work in the book "Pantheism and Ecology: Cosmological, Philosophical, and Theological Perspectives (2023)", highlighting his interdisciplinary expertise bridging philosophy and ecological studies, and the book chapter ”Making Zoonoethics and Becoming a One Health Ethicist from the Global South: Do We Need a Zoonoethics or One Health Ethic to Address the Risks of Zoonoses in the Next Millennium?” in “A Companion to Doing Ethics” (2024), Wiley-Blackwell, Edited by Alan A.
