Author Biographies

Prof. Roberto Gazzeri is a leading neurosurgeon working in the Interventional and Surgical Pain Management Unit at San Giovanni - Addolorata Hospital in Rome, Italy. He performed his neurosurgical training at Tor Vergata University Hospital in Rome, Italy, and a minimally invasive neurosurgery fellowship at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He is Associate Professor (National Scientific Qualification) in the disciplinary field of Neurosurgery. He is a recurrent invited speaker for national and international meetings and courses, including the Italian Neurosurgical Society (SINCh). He also boasts numerous abstracts and presentations at international conferences (EANS—European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, CNS—Congress of Neurological Surgeons, NASS—North American Spine Society). Over the years, his research has focused on degenerative and traumatic lumbar spinal diseases, minimally invasive spinal procedures, safe surgery and neuromodulation (Spinal Cord Stimulation). He published numerous scientific papers in international journals and books and collaborates with several european neurosurgical departments. He performed more than one thousand spinal and brain surgeries.
