Antonio Zippo is a mechanical engineer with a Ph.D. in "Advanced Mechanics and Automotive Design and Technology". He has been an associate professor of mechanism and machine theory, applied mechanics, and mechanical vibration since 1 June 2023 in the "Enzo Ferrari" Department of Engineering, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, UNIMORE. He achieved the National Scientific qualification as a full professor in the Italian higher education system on 29/11/2023. He teaches multibody dynamics, mechanical vibration, mechanism and machine theory of vehicles, dynamic testing of vehicles, and prognostic and predictive maintenance courses. His research activities include experimental tests, modeling, and numerical simulations of complex nonlinear dynamics, linear and nonlinear vibration analysis of mechanical systems, and nonlinear vibrations of structures and control. His research focuses on chaos and nonlinear time series analysis; non-smooth dynamics; diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive maintenance and condition monitoring of complex systems; fluid–structure interaction; the effect of thermal gradients; and bioengineering. He is part of the Vibration, NVH, and Powertrain Laboratory of the "Enzo Ferrari" Department of Engineering.

Sinniah Ilanko is an honor professor at the University of Waikato in New Zealand. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil  Engineering at the University of Manchester in British and his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. His research interests include stability and vibration of structures, stress analysis, numerical modeling, and engineering education. He teaches or has taught engineering mechanics, mechanics of materials, structural analysis, numerical analysis, and finite element method. He has been working as a deputy editor-in-chief for the Journal of Sound and Vibration since 2021.

Brian Mace is a visiting professor of structural dynamics within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton. He joined ISVR as a reader in structural dynamics in 2000. He graduated in engineering science (first-class honors, 1974) and then a D. Phil. (1977) from Oxford University, and was then a research fellow at ISVR for 3 years. This was followed by lecturing positions in the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering, University College, Cardiff, for 3 years and for 17 years in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Auckland, New Zealand. His interests, in general, concern vibrations, dynamics, control, and mechatronics. He has taught and developed courses in these areas and has acted as a consultant to industry many times in New Zealand, the UK, and elsewhere.
Francesco Pellicano is a professor at the Department of Engineering “Enzo Ferrari” at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He obtained an M.S. degree in aeronautical engineering in 1992 and a Ph.D. in theoretical and applied mechanics in 1996 from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Department of Mechanics and Aeronautics. He served as a researcher at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering, from 1996 to 2003. His research interests include nonlinear vibrations of structures, nonlinear normal modes, axially moving systems, nonlinear vibration of shells with fluid-structure interaction, gears modeling, non-smooth dynamics, chaos, nonlinear time series analysis, and forecasting methods in oceanography.
