Dr. Xinan Yue has been a Professor
at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, since
2015. Before that, he worked at the University Corporation for Atmospheric
Research as a Research Scientist from 2009 to 2011, as a Project Scientist 1
from 2011 to 2013, and a Project Scientist 2 from 2013 to 2015. He studied for a Ph.D. degree
at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from 2003 to 2008. He has
received honors including the Presidential Excellence Award of the
Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Excellent PhD thesis of CAS Nomination
Award. His scientific interests include ionospheric/thermospheric modeling,
data assimilation, GNSS applications, remote sensing, and space weather. Now, he
is leading SYISR development.
