Randi Streisand is a behavioral scientist and pediatric psychologist as well as a certified diabetes care and education specialist. She serves as chief of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Children's National Hospital. She is also a professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the George Washington University School of Medicine. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Florida. She provides and supervises psychosocial services for children and families across a variety of pediatric populations, mentors others in behavioral diabetes research, and supports faculty development. Dr. Streisand serves on several grant review committees internally through Children’s National and for several organizations including the NIH and the American Diabetes Association.
