Prof. Anis Koubaa is a Professor of Computer Science, Advisor to the Rector, and Leader of the Robotics and Internet of Things Research Lab at Prince Sultan University. He is also an R&D Consultant at Gaitech Robotics in China and a Senior Researcher at CISTER/INESC TEC and ISEP-IPP, Porto, Portugal. He has been the Chair of the ACM Chapter in Saudi Arabia since 2014. He is also a Senior Fellow of the
Higher Education Academy (HEA) in the UK. He is also an ACM Distinguished Speaker. His research interests include deep learning, robot operating systems, computer vision, drones/UAVs, robots, and the internet of things.
Dr. Wadii Boulila is an Associate Professor of Computer Science, at Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. He is also a Senior Researcher at RIOTU Laboratory, CCIS, Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia, RIADI Laboratory, ENSI, University of Manouba, Tunisia, an IEEE Senior Member/ACM Member/AAAI Member/KES Silver Member, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), UK. He received an Eng. degree in computer science from the Aviation School of Borj El Amri in 2005, an M.Sc. degree from the National School of Computer Science (ENSI), University of Manouba, Tunisia in 2007, and a PhD degree conjointly from ENSI and Telecom-Bretagne, University of Rennes 1, France, in 2012. His primary research interests include big data analytics, deep learning, data mining, artificial intelligence, uncertainty modeling, remote sensing images, etc.
