Prof. Jianchun Deng is currently the director of the Proton Radiotherapy Research Center. From December 1980 to August 1988, he worked at the Wuhan Light Industry Machinery Factory. From September 1982 to July 1987, he studied at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (undergraduate). In 1991, he received a Master's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and stayed on to teach. From October 1993 to June 1994, he visited and studied at the Kyiv University of Technology in Ukraine. He has been engaged in the research and development of enterprise informatization, precision boring error compensation process equipment, machining special machines and automatic lines, gamma ray radiotherapy equipment, proton radiotherapy equipment, etc.
Prof. Shihua Gong is
currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Equipment Center of the
School of Mechanical Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and
Technology. In 1990, he graduated from Beijing Agricultural Engineering
University (now China Agricultural University) with a Bachelor's degree in
electrical automation and worked at Yichang Electrical Instrument Factory (now
Yichang Machine Tool Group). In 1996, he graduated from the School of
Mechanical Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a
Master's degree in electromechanical control and automation and stayed at the
school to work. In 2008, he graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering
of Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a doctorate in mechanical
manufacturing and automation. He has been engaged in research in the field of
digital equipment control and CNC technology for a long time.
