Author Biographies

Prof. Miroslaw Smieszek is an associate professor at the Rzeszów University of Technology. He graduated from the Faculty of Automobiles and Construction Machinery at the Warsaw University of Technology in 1981. His main research areas are issues related to transport and its energy needs. This applies in particular to public transport and automated guided transport vehicles.
Prof. Vasyl Mateichyk is a professor of the Department of Engineering of Technical Systems in Rzeszow University of Technology (Poland) and a professor of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Technologies in National Transport University (Ukraine). His experience in science and education spans over 30 years. He is an expert at the EU Joint Research Centre in the field of impact assessment of freight transport emissions. He has authored more than 150 scientific publications, monographs, manuals, and textbooks. His main focuses of research are methods and ways of improving the environmental safety of road vehicles and machinery under operating conditions, monitoring systems of transport, and vehicle reliability.
Jakub Mosciszewski is an assistant at the Rzeszów University of Technology. He completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of the Rzeszów University of Technology in 2021. His scientific interests focus on energy issues related to the movement of motor vehicles.
