Prof. Lucia Maria Procopciuc earned her MD from the Faculty of Medicine, Iuliu-Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2000. Since 2005, she has been a specialist physician in the field of Hygiene (Environmental Hygiene, Child and Youth Hygiene, Food and Nutrition Hygiene). Then, she obtained her PhD degree from Maastricht University, Holland, in 2009. Since 2016, she has been an associate professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Discipline of Hygiene, at the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
