Stefan Frantz is a director of the Department of Internal Medicine I (cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, emergency internal medicine, intensive care medicine, pulmonology) at the University Hospital of Würzburg. He is a deputy speaker of the Comprehensive Heart Failure Center Würzburg and
deputy physician director of the University Hospital Würzburg. Since 2022 he has been also a speaker at the collaborative research center “Cardio-Immune-Interfaces” funded by the DFG. He had his medical education in Würzburg and is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Intensive Care Medicine. From 2014 to 2017 he was chair of Internal Medicine/Cardiology at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle/Wittenberg.
