Dr. Lei Jiang is an associate professor at Chang'an University. He is a joint doctoral student of Chang'an University and Queen's University in Canada. He has been awarded First Prize of Shandong Province Transportation Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (2022), Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Shaanxi Province (2022), Special Prize of Science and Technology of China Steel Structure Association (2022), First Prize of Science and Technology of China Highway Society (2022), First Prize of Shaanxi Science and Technology Progress Award (2022), etc. He served as a reviewer for domestic and foreign journals such as Thin-Walled Structures, Journal of Structural Engineering (ASCE), Engineering Structures, Journal of Constructional Steel Research, Structures, and China Journal of Highway and Transport. His main research direction is steel bridges and composite structure bridges. He has presided over five national and provincial scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and the China Postdoctoral Research Project, and more than 10 bridge engineering scientific research and technical consulting projects. He has published more than 40 papers in top journals in the field of bridge engineering at home and abroad, has authorized seven national patents, has participated in the compilation of two monographs, and has participated in the compilation of four industry and local standards.
