Author Biographies

Fredy G. Rodríguez-Páez is a physician, with a master’s in public health, and a specialist in the social evaluation of projects. Fredy's competencies include strategic thinking, calculating financial and economic impacts on health, risk adjustment, quality of care, and health administration aimed at achieving objectives, goals, and results. Fredy has extensive administrative experience in service delivery companies, insurance companies of the contributory regime, complementary care plans, and the implementation and development of the quality management system and health risk administration. Fredy's research focuses on models, health systems performance, health economics, health equity, and quality of health.
Diego Cabrera-Moya is an Industrial Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a specialist in Marketing Management. Diego earned an M.Sc. in Administration from the Universidad de La Salle and an M.Sc. in Management and a Ph.D. (c) in Management Sciences from the Universidad del Rosario. He is currently a scholarship holder, researcher, and peer evaluator for COLCIENCIAS. He is a professional and consultant in the sectors of transport, health, finance and energy and has been a teacher and researcher at different higher education institutions in areas such as administration and marketing; formulation, evaluation, and project management; and human talent management, prospective, organizations, and strategic management. The main theme of his current research is related to mass public transportation systems and their impact on the strategic decisions of organizations.
