Adina-Eliza Croitoru received her PhD. in Geography from the Institute of Geography of the Romanian Science Academy, in 2005. She has worked as a Professor at Babes-Bolyai University, Romania, since 2017. Since 2000, she has been a member of the Research Board of the World Meteorological Organization, and since 2001, she has chaired the Working Group on Research of the Regional Association VI (Europe) of the World Meteorological Association. Her research topics mainly include: climate change, weather and climate extremes, urban climate, and human biometeorology.
