Prof. Antonio Ferrante is the Professor and Head of Paediatric Immunopathology, SA Pathology at the Women’s and Children’s Campus. He is a Professor in Paediatrics, the Adelaide Medical School and a Professor in Microbiology and Immunology, School of Biological Science, University of Adelaide. He is the Research Leader for Developmental and Genetic Immunology at the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide. His research interest focuses on basic and translation research in immunology about babies and children’s health. His research area also includes cell signaling by cytokine and lipid mediators in inflammatory diseases, including allergy.
