Author Biographies

LEFENG CHENG (Member, IEEE) was born in Huanggang, Hubei, China, in 1990. He received a B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and its automation from the College of Information Science and Engineering, Huaqiao University, Quanzhou, China, in 2012, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. degree in the power system and its automation from the School of Electric Power, South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. He is now working as a Young Associate Professor with the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Guangzhou University, Guangzhou, China. He is currently heading three government-sponsored research projects. His major research interests include power distribution automation, evolutionary game theory and complex network modeling, game-theoretic methods and its applications in the electricity market, and machine learning algorithms and its applications in the operation, optimization and control of energy and electric power systems. He is an IEEE PES Member, appointed as a secretary of IEEE PES Smart Grid and Emerging Technologies Satellite Committee - China Sub-Committee on Smart Grid Flexible Resource Interaction Technologies, and an executive director of IEEEPES-SBLC-China Sub-Committee on Electric Power Load Technologies.
Peng Pan (1998), was born in Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, China, and he is currently pursuing a master's degree and obtaining a bachelor's degree in engineering; he mainly engages in research on game theory and its application in smart grids and electricity markets. Wentian Lu (1990), born in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, is an associate professor, PhD, currently working in the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Guangzhou University, mainly engaged in research on intelligent dispatching and operation control of power systems. Pengrong Huang (2001), was born in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, China, and he is currently pursuing a master's degree and obtaining a bachelor's degree in engineering; he mainly engages in research on game theory, especially evolutionary game theory and its application in smart grids and electricity markets. YANG CHEN was born in Suihua, Heilongjiang, China, in 1988. She received her master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. She joined the School of Mechanical and Electric Engineering, Guangzhou University, China, where she is currently a lecturer. She has participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Program and the NSFC General Program. Her research interests include battery management system, high-frequency switching power supply design, and power electronic circuit design.
