Dr. Sergio Ricardo Lourenço has a degree in Production and Metallurgical Engineering from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (1997), a specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering from the University of São Paulo, a master’s degree in Energy Systems Planning from the State University of Campinas (2003), and a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from State University of Campinas (2006). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of ABC. He has experience in the area of Production Engineering, with an emphasis on Production Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: natural gas, energy management, safety engineering, and projects.
Dr. Marlene Amorim has a PhD in Management from IESE Business School in Barcelona (Spain). She has a degree in Economics from the University of Porto and a Masters in Science, Technology, and Innovation Management from the University of Aveiro (Portugal). She began her career in industry, working in the internationalization and marketing strategy of companies in the agri-food sector, located in Portugal, the Netherlands, and Belgium. She then embraced the challenges of management in the context of higher education, as Advisor for Internationalization at the University of Aveiro in 2000. She was Pro-Rector for Internationalization at the University of Aveiro from 2014 to 2018 and also served as Director and Vice Director for the Master’s Degree program in Economics, Management, and Industrial Engineering and is a Member of the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral Program in Industrial Engineering and Management. She currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, Management, and Industrial Engineering and Tourism, and she is also a researcher at the Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness, and Public Policies, where she coordinates the Line of Research on Competitiveness, Innovation, and Sustainability.
Prof. Mário Rodrigues holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Aveiro (2013), a Master's in Electronics and Telecommunications from the same University (2004), and a degree in Mathematics Applied to Technology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (2000). He has been a member of ESTGA since 2003, where he taught and has been responsible for curricular units in the area of Informatics, in subjects related to software development and artificial intelligence and, more particularly, machine learning. He is the current Course Director of the Master's in Applied Informatics. He is a member of the Institute of Electronics and Informatics Engineering of Aveiro (IEETA), where he researches technologies for human language (Human Language Technologies). Since 2019, he has chaired the Executive Committee of UNAVE—the Association for Professional Training and Research at the University of Aveiro.
