Author Biographies

Zheng Xin (1987-present) is a senior engineer and Ph.D. candidate at Chongqing Jiaotong University, China. He obtained his Master's degree in June 2016 and currently holds the position of Technical Supervisor at the Tunnel and Traffic Engineering Branch of Yunnan Provincial Transportation Planning, Design, and Research Institute Co., Ltd. His research focuses on the design theory and construction technology of tunnels and underground engineering, the study of rock mass deformation and failure mechanisms, and construction control techniques. He has received recognition for his contributions, including winning the Second Prize from the China Highway Survey and Design Association, the Silver Award at the 5th National Highway Micro-Innovation Competition organized by the China Highway Society, and two First Prizes from the Yunnan Provincial Highway Society. He has authored one monograph and published 12 papers in prestigious journals. Additionally, he holds seven granted invention patents. He is a key member of the Yunnan Provincial Tunnel Engineering Technology Innovation Team and the Huang Hongwei Academician Expert Workstation in Yunnan Province. He has actively participated in five provincial and ministerial-level research projects. He is a Youth Committee Member of the World Transport Convention and is a member of the China Highway Society and the Yunnan Provincial Highway Society.
