Prof. Dr. Wei Zhang is a Professor and Doctoral Tutor at the College of Animal Science and Technology, Nanjing Agricultural University. He completed his PhD studies in Biology at the National University of Singapore and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Hietakangas Laboratory, University of Helsinki. Now, he is engaged in the teaching and research of veterinary microbiology and immunology. His main research fields are pathogenic microbial diagnostic methods such as Streptococcus suis, immune control and pathogenesis research, and research on bacteriophage antibacterial mechanisms.
